This album contains my digital collages from 1999-2004.
Many of these images are my first explorations into the possibilities of digital art. During my painting/printmaking years at art school from 1995-1999 I had a very negative opinion of the use of computers for art. I imagined that all computer-produced art looked very generic and uninteresting, and thought it was cheating- push a couple of buttons and make some art.
I soon learned that the computer was a tool just like a paintbrush, and what you did with it was up to you. It could even do things that would be either very difficult or impossible to do with traditional media, and you could UNDO!
